THE VISION OF THE WATCHMEN PRAYER NETWORK
Our Mission
At the Watchmen Prayer Network, our mission is to raise a global community of intercessors who are committed to discerning and responding to the heart of God through consistent, Spirit-led prayer. We stand in the gap for Nations, Leaders, and the Church, believing in the power of united prayer to shape destinies, bring healing, and release God’s will on the earth.
We are watchmen on the wall – alert, obedient, and devoted to the call of intercession. Anchored in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to build a prayer culture that is inclusive, sustainable, and transformative across generations and nations.

Our Vision & Journey
The Watchmen Prayer Network (TWPN) began in May 2014, when a group of devoted male leaders committed to gathering weekly at midnight on Sundays to pray—seeking God for the Church, the Nations, and their personal lives as they entered each new week.
In March 2020, as the world faced the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, I felt a divine prompting to pray more intentionally for the Nations. On March 23, I was moved with deep compassion to intercede for Italy as the death toll continued to climb. That same day, Pastor Ayodele Ajayi reached out to commend the urgency in my prayers and suggested hosting a prayer meeting by phone. His call confirmed what the Holy Spirit had been impressing on my heart for days.
Transitioning from weekly to daily prayer gatherings was a significant shift. I wrestled with concerns about the name “Watchmen” and how it would be received across genders. But God clarified: it’s not about gender—it’s about the calling. It’s about the office of the Watchman.
Encouraged by this confirmation, I agreed to Pastor Ajayi’s suggestion, recognizing God’s timing in it. The Lord then instructed me to pause all other scheduled prayer initiatives and focus solely on interceding for the pandemic. Pastor Ajayi became a key leader, and I was led to bring in men and women from diverse denominational backgrounds to serve together.
On March 25, 2020, the Watchmen Prayer Network officially launched with daily prayer meetings dedicated to standing in the gap for a world in crisis. What began as a response to COVID-19 soon revealed a much bigger divine agenda. Now in our 6th year of continuous, seven-day-a-week prayer, we remain focused on interceding for our Leaders, Nations, and the Church—always guided by the Holy Spirit.
God has shown Himself faithful, continually strengthening our resolve, expanding our reach, and raising passionate intercessors who seek His heart. One of my greatest joys has been seeing TWPN thrive beyond me. From the beginning, God made it clear that the vision was never to be centered on a single person. Today, I hold just a monthly slot to share the prayer focus and encourage our leaders.
To everyone who has journeyed with us—thank you. Special thanks to Pastors Nicholas Nunayon, Ayodele Ajayi, Demola James, Amos Okafor, and many others who stood with me in the early days. Now, in our 11th year, your faithfulness has sustained this movement.
A heartfelt thank you to our dynamic co-anchors, Pastor Adetokunbo Evans Emmanuel and Pastor Dele Oderinde (whom I’ve not yet met in person). From the very start, your leadership and unwavering dedication have been pillars in this Network.
To all past and present prayer leaders—thank you. Your devotion to the Watchmen vision does not go unnoticed. May heaven reward your labor of love, and may the seeds you’ve sown in prayer bear eternal fruit.
As we look to the future, may TWPN always remain in the will of God, responsive to His leading, and faithful in intercession.
We invite you to learn more about how you can be part of this growing, global prayer family—no matter where you are in the world.
With gratitude and hope,
